Ageing vs Aging

북미지역 American과 Canadian 들은 aging (American English)을 주로 사용하고 

British와 Autralian을 포함하는 북미 외 지역에서는 Ageing (British English)을 사용합니다. 

아래 예에서 볼 수 있듯이 American, Canadian 주요 언론 매체들은 aging 이라는 스펠링을 선호합니다.

반면에 British, Australian 주요 언론 매체들은 ageing 이라는 스펠링을 선호합니다. 

예) A doctor who gave her sister a massive dose of an experimental anti-ageing drug which triggered a fatal allergic reaction has been struck off. [Daily Mail]

예) The ageing of the population will increasingly shift the balance of power towards all employees. [Sydney Morning Herald]

예) The ageing American space shuttle Discovery has arrived back on earth after its last mission to the international space station. [BBC News]
